Epic Flight Academy Brazil

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Epic Announces Brazilian Pilot Training Course

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL USA, Dec. 10, 2010 - Epic Flight Academy Inc. and BPSA Aviation Inc. are proud to announce their joint venture for an airline pilot training program catering to Brazilian students. Epic Flight Academy entered the international airline pilot training sector in November of 1999 and has successfully trained over 2500 pilots from over 30 countries around the world. Epic continues to expand its international relations by joining with successful business partners, such as BPSA Aviation. Danny Perna, President of Epic Flight Academy, comments, “This project is extremely exciting for Epic and our goals for international business. I have worked for years with Bruno Proence, President of BPSA Aviation, and by means of dedication and understanding we have created an impressive program. Mr. Proence has the experience and credentials of a successful international business partner with focus to develop Brazil’s exciting and demanding market for flight professionals.”

Bruno Proence dos Santos Alves’ extensive aviation experience includes a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle. His piloting career includes the positions of First Officer piloting C750, C208b and A318/319/320 for Brazil's largest airline, TAM,and currently flying a Citation X as Captain. The first stage of launching the Brazil Airline Pilot Training Program has budgeted 30 and 40 new students on an annual basis with the first batch starting date late December 2010. The Brazil Airline Training Program will be based off FAA regulations with either 200 or 250 total flight hours, dependent on the airline the student will seek employment with and their requirements. This is a similar curriculum to what Epic currently offers American students as well as those from other countries in order to achieve an FAA rating.

Student pilots that come to United States to attend Epic Flight Academy will complete a Commercial Multi Instrument pilot license that can be converted to meet Brazil’s licensing requirements, as well as the new ICAO level-4 English standards. This is an important benefit meaning at the time of completing Epic’s commercial flight course student pilots will not have to take any future English training or testing. Most students coming into the program can expect to complete the interim course in 7 to 8 months. This is Epic’s average for international students with English as their second language. The combined efforts and success of this joint venture will strengthen a much sought after business tie between the United States and Brazil to reach a common goal of providing superior education and training in support of the ever growing aviation industry.
